Japanese Government Announces Measures for Supporting Women and Children in Disaster-Struck Regions

In a move to prevent crime in disaster-struck regions, the government has established a working group to provide policy measures for ensuring the safety and well being of those living in these areas.

The working group released its report, “Ensuring Safety and Well-being in Disaster-Struck Regions” on April 6,
