The last 2 ½ weeks have been some of the most difficult in recent history here in Tokyo and Tohoku Japan. We know you are all dealing with complicated situations and decisions involving your work, home and future planning. At this time of difficulty and stress we are reminded that the point of celebrating cherry blossom season is to acknowledge both the beauty and the impermanence of life, to celebrate the seasons, the passage of time, and our friends and family and to truly appreciate them while we have them as nothing in life remains the same and nothing is permanent.

With that in mind we know many of you who normally celebrate this festive time of year at work or with friends are not sure if it is wise or appropriate given all the stress and in sympathy with our neighbors in the north who have experienced such tremendous loss. But at the same time, we know all of us are working to come back to some sense of a normal life and also to take the time to appreciate our family, coworkers and friends which is the foundation of these yearly celebrations.

In honor of that tradition we offer great hanami trays every year, if you Do decide to go ahead with community or work related hanami events we are happy to support you. 《2011 お花見メニューのご案内》

いつも私たちのサービスをご利用いただきありがとうございます。

まず始めに、このたび東北 * 関東地方における地震と津波の被害を受けた方々に心からのお見舞いを申し上げます。皆様方におかれましては、この2週間半の間、大変な思いで過ごされたこととお察しします。今後の生活についても様々な思いを抱えていらっしゃることでしょう。

このような厳しい時期ではありますが、季節は徐々に春を迎えつつあり、東京での桜の開花も報じられました。今年はご家族やご友人と美しい桜を眺めながら、季節の移り変わりと人と人との繋がりを確かめあう、そんな貴重な時間を過ごすのも心休まるひと時となるかもしれません。又、毎年会社や同僚の方とお花見を企画されている方の中には、今年はこのような大きな被害をもたらした災害の後ということを考慮してイベントを自粛しようとお考えになる方もいらっしゃることとお察しします。

ですが、いつも通りの生活に戻ることの大切さ、家族や友人、同僚と貴重な時間を共に過ごすことを私たちは忘れてはいけないと感じています。

毎年、私たちは特製のお花見メニューを用意しています。今年も家族や会社の仲間とお花見をされると決められましたら、ぜひお手伝いをさせてください。そして私たちはまだまだ多くの支援物資が必要な被災地の方々のために、お花見の売り上げの１０％をセカンドハーベストジャパンに寄付致します。この団体では救援物資の搬送や東北地方の人々の日常生活支援の活動を行っています。
