Helping animals
Those wanting to help animals in the wake of this disaster can join this Facebook group => Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support

Volunteering
* i have put out another request this morning and once the NGOs get this information to me it will be posted here.
* If you have medical training of any kind you are in need!!!
* Transport a big issue right no.
* You will need to pay for your own transportation and living costs.
* i will put up some general information within the hour.
In-kind (goods) donations
(responding to several questions which have come to me in the last day.)
* In Japan only new or nearly new items will be taken. clothing, blankets etc. must be cleaned before sending.
* You will need to pay for all transportation costs.
* I am not able to give you any specific addresses or needs until the NGOs get this information to me.
* Transport is biggest issue right now - you will not be able to send by regular mail
to the site.
