Kimono KONY-SANTA CHRISTMAS Brunch PROJECT:

Sunday 12/2 10am-4pm Come have brunch at Kimono and help some wonderful children have a happy winter holiday season!

This effort is being organized by The Famous Sumo Champion Konishki through the The Konishiki Kids Foundation. The foundation has historically supported donating toys to underprivileged children in Japan and last year began a special effort to reach underprivileged children in the affected areas of Tohoku. In early December, former Sumo Star Konishiki will travel to Tohoku to meet with children in orphanages and local kindergartens and present them with toys from "Kony-Santa".

Kony-Santa Christmas in Tohoku Project Checklist:

We need your donation of New toys for children aged 3 to 6 years old. You can bring them to Kimono and drop off any time between now 11/24 until 12/2

Or Celebrate with us at our special Kony-Santa Brunch!

If you bring a toy on 12/2 you can enjoy a free hot cocoa, or hot wine, or mimosa! On that day we will also have our special- famous GINGERBREAD Pancakes with raspberries and whipped cream, in addition to all our other amazing brunch dishes.

Toys can be wrapped or unwrapped. If wrapped, please attach a red ribbon for girls / green ribbon for boys, or a sticker to indicate the gender the toy is intended for -- unless the toy can be enjoyed by both boys and girls. Also accepting batteries (for toys) and gift-wrapping paper.

Also accepting cash if you would like us to shop for you! If donating cash, please leave your envelope addressed to the “Kony-Santa Project” at Kimono. And we will make a big run to ToysRUs and Costco and load up on great new toys.

Please bring your donations to Kimono Wine and Grill any time during regular restaurant hours. Location and hours on our site at www.kimonowinebar.com or come celebrate with us on 12/2! Outside these hours, please email me to make arrangements/

The deadline for receipt of all donations is noon on Wednesday, December 5th. (They will be delivered to Tohoku on Dec. 6th, so the earlier you can deliver them to Kimono the better!)
