The event focus is Tohoku, especially with the last presenter. However from this event on we will be talking less directly about Tohoku reconstruction (which is now commencing) and focusing more and more on social sustainability/social resilience through intervention in the built environment in general. We are hoping to take what has been learned and discussed since 3.11 and apply it to other regions in Japan not directly affected by 3.11. We hope this will allow us all to prepare for 'the next disaster' and also allow us to be better prepared for helping in future disasters overseas.
We look forward to YOUR input and to YOUR questions that will hopefully test all of us.
