Living Dreams NPO (founded 2006) enriches and empowers the lives of over 3,000 children who live in children’s homes (orphanages) in the Tokyo & Tohoku area.  We deliver effective and enriching opportunities to the over 50 homes (including 19 homes in Tohoku) through our Learning, Arts, Sports and Technology (L.A.S.T.) programs. www.livingdreams.jp

We are looking for a Director who is motivated, passionate and inspired to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. This position best suits someone who is organized, pays attention to small detail and understands the importance of being flexible and open-minded.   Bilingual Japanese woman preferred.

Director’s core responsibilities are to

-       Collaborate with Living Dreams community to effectively implement our L.A.S.T. programs.

-        

-       Conduct continual assessment interviews/surveys through Home Communications Managers to ensure we are meeting the homes needs.

-       Ensure funding inquiries are fully processed into our bank account.

-       Continue to build a team around our core strategic plan objectives as well as review and revise our objectives regularly.

-       Coordinate the stories we share with our community and beyond through our blog, Facebook page and other media sources.

Salary

Salary is 300,000 yen per month with transportation and other potential benefits. We are looking for a minimum of two-year commitment.
