With a mission to empower Japanese women to become leaders and to make positive social change, the Japanese Women’s Leadership Initiative fosters the next generation of women nonprofit/social entrepreneur leaders in Japan. JWLI is a Boston-based, four-week training on nonprofit management with a 5-day graduate-level course on Strategic Leadership for Women at the Simmons College School of Management. This program is designed for women who are or have been in leadership roles for nonprofit organizations or social enterprises, as the goal is for these women to become an agent for social changes in Japan.
