The Royal Family is collapsing in on itself. Phaedra, the King's wife, obsesses over her step-son, and heir to the throne, Hippolytus. All he ever does is sleep, watch films, and have sex. Her actions, and his apathy, will destroy the nation.
Sarah Kane was an English playwright known for writing extreme, violent, poetic plays. Her darkly comedic, modern rework of a Greek tragedy brutally explores love, family, and what it means to be human.
This show is not recommended for people under the age of 16. It contains violence, sexual content, and language not suitable for younger audiences.
