Since crisis situations have been still ongoing in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami, and the Fukushima First Nuclear Plants accidents, HRN has decided, through consultations with OHCHR human rights officers and other NGOs below, to make an urgent request to the UN Special Rapporteurs for a country visit to Japan in order to conduct fact-finding missions on such situations.
